Rampurhat Station To Tarapith Temple

The primary station is Rampurhat Junction, 8 km away. You can get shared autos, cabs, etc. The shared auto costs Rs . 40 per person.

Another station is Tarapith Road station. However, not every train stops at this station, so check before booking. This railway station is 5 km away.

Places To Visit In Tarapith From Kolkata

After touring the Tarapith temple, you can take the road beside to visit the Tarapith Mahasamsan ( cremation ground).

From Tarapith, Birchandrapur Gram is 7-8km away. There are many tourist spots to visit. This is the birthplace of Nityananda Prabhu, a spiritual entity. This village is named after his son, Virabhadra Goswami. All the temples in this area are closed from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
