- Book the tour with a trustworthy travel company.

Ireland Tour with my Grandfather
We started our journey from India and reached Dublin (the capital of Ireland) in 10 hours. We hired a car for sightseeing, which I felt was much better than a bus tour.
Ireland tour is expensive but affordable. One week costs $2685 per person, including flights, food, accommodation, etc. It was a fantastic trip with busy and action-packed days.
- Day 1: We started and ended our tour in Dublin. In Dublin, Ha’penny Bridge is famous. It’s the first pedestrian bridge built in 1816 across the Liffey River. The tour was for seven days. We reached the Ashling Hotel using the shuttle service provided by the airport. After resting for a few hours, we visited the River Liffey. We also experienced the Guinness Storehouse, where the ticket cost was €25 for adults, €18.5 for students and seniors, and children €16 (13-17). Other fabulous places are Christchurch Cathedral, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Custom House. Our local tour director guided this orientation tour.
- Day 2: We departed from Dublin and headed towards Killarney. First, we stopped in Cahir to see the castle. Then, we climbed the ramparts in Blarney Castle to enjoy the scenic beauty.
- Day 3: We went to The Ring of Kerry to enjoy the mountain and sea views. You can also go for a hike there. Must carry good walking shoes, sunscreen, and rain gear.
- Day 4: We visited Killarney- Foynes- Cliffs of Moher- Limerick, Pan Am’s Flying Boat in Foynes. The invention of Irish coffee was a part of learning there. ‘Cliffs of Moher’, whose beauty is incomparable. It’s the most visited tourist place, and it is also our most memorable part. From here, we can see outstanding natural beauty. The Cliff is 702 feet. It’s also a specially protected area for seabirds.
- Day 5: The destination spot was Dingle. We explored the beautiful peninsula with its historical wonders. Inch Beach was our first stop. Then we went to the edge of Europe, also known as Sla Head. Don’t miss clicking the photo with Fungi (the name of a Dolphin) that has been there for 30 years.
- Day 6: We departed from Doolin village and explored moon-like terrain. We last returned to the hotel in Dublin, and our flight was at 6:00 pm.

Dublin Travel Card
The Dublin Travel Card is known as the Leap Visitor Card. It’s a transportation card for visitors and tourists in Dublin. It’s especially useful for getting the user to and from the airport without additional charges.
It offers unlimited journeys during its activity time on Airlink buses, Dublin Bus, Luas, DART and Commuter Rail. This pass can be bought online or from the Dublin airport as well. It’s also available for sale at tourist information centres like Visit Dublin Centre and Discover Ireland Centre.
The card comes in three categories according to its validity. They are as follows:
CATEGORIES | COST |
24-hour card | €10 |
72-hour card | €19.50 |
7 days card | €40 |
The card activates from the first trip, and you can extend the validity by topping it up with an extra period of 1, 3 or 7 days.
