Bangladesh Book Fair Kolkata in Mohor Kunja or Citizen Park

The Bangladesh Book Fair started in Mohor Kunja, a popular place in Kolkata. Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau has jointly organised the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission, Bangladesh Knowledge, Creative Publisher Committee, and the West Bengal government.

8th Bangladesh Book Fair, Kolkata

The collection of poems by Gurudev Rabindranath Thakur and poet Nazrul Islam will highlight this fair.

The book fair attracts book lovers from around the world. It was inaugurated on November 2 in Mohor Kunja premises, located west of Rabindra Sadan. On this occasion, at 4:00 p.m., many Bangladeshi ministers were present.

For the first time in 2011, the government started the Bangladesh Book Fair in Kolkata. About 44 bookstores and several prominent publishers in Bangladesh will attend the fair this year. As many as 69 publishing houses will participate in this book fair.

Bangladeshi people will organise several cultural events at the Fair, including a cultural program highlighting Bangladeshi folk traditions. The cultural program is held in the evening, where artists from India and Bangladesh participate.

The collection of poems by Gurudev Ravindra Nath Tagore and poet Nazrul Islam will be a special highlight.

The book fair will run from November 2 to November 11. It is an 11-day program. The fair will be open to book lovers daily from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

How to reach the Bangladesh Book Fair, Kolkata

The best way to reach Mahar Kunja or Citizen Park is to get off the Rabindra Sadan Metro, and you can easily reach it here by walking for five minutes. The Academy of Fine Arts is your destination by cab or bus. Mohor Kunja is just the opposite of the Academy of Fine Arts.

Many tourist places exist in this area, like Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, Nandan, Academy of Fine Arts, St. Paul’s Cathedral, etc. My suggestion is that when you visit this festival, take some extra time on your hands. Add these places to your hangout. It will be a lovely evening for you. Additionally, you can do a horse cart ride in the Victoria Memorial. You may watch a film in Nandan, etc. You can have a good time in Mohor Kunj, too.

৮ম বাংলাদেশ বুক ফেয়ার কলকাতায় শুরু হয়েছে , পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ও বাংলাদেশের যৌথ উদ্যোগে। ২011 সালে প্রথমবার কলকাতায় বাংলাদেশ বুক ফেয়ার চালু হয়েছিল।
এই বই মেলা সারা বিশ্বের বই প্রেমীদের আকর্ষণ করে।রবীন্দ্র সদন এর পশ্চিমে অবস্থিত মোহর কুঞ্জ প্রাঙ্গনে ২ য় নভেম্বর এই মেলার উদ্বোধন হয়েছে।

প্রতিসন্ধ্যায় সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে, যেখানে ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের উভয় শিল্পী অংশগ্রহণ করছেন। গুরুদেব রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর ও কবি নজরুল ইসলামের কবিতা সংগ্রহ এই মেলার বিশেষ আকর্ষণ।

বই মেলা ২ নভেম্বর থেকে 11 নভেম্বর পর্যন্ত চলবে। এটি একটি 11 দিন প্রোগ্রাম। প্রতিদিন দুপুর 2 টা থেকে রাত 8 টা পর্যন্ত বই প্রেমীদের জন্য মেলা খোলা থাকবে। শনিবার এবং রবিবার দুপুর ২ টা থেকে রাত 8.৩০ টা পর্যন্ত। মোহর কুঞ্জ বা সিটিজেন পার্ক পৌঁছানোর সর্বোত্তম উপায় রবীন্দ্র সদন মেট্রোতে এসে , 5 মিনিট হাঁটলেই আপনি সহজেই এখানে পৌঁছতে পারবেন। আপনি যদি ক্যাব বা বাস এ আসেন তবে একাডেমী অফ ফাইন আর্টস এ নামতে হবে । মোহর কুঞ্জ ঠিক একাডেমী অফ ফাইন আএর বিপরীতে|
